Oh, he lives with you, then? I lived with my grandparents and wouldn't trade anything for it. Grandparents are special people.

He stays with me alot . He dont live with me . He has a mother and father to raise him . Why did you have to stay with your grammy ? Why didnt your mom want you ? Thats sad .

But I do agree with you , granparents are special.

I miss my grandparents. My grandmother died when I was young but I still remember all the little things she did to make me happy. Homemade banana ice cream, going to church in a new dress she made for me,shopping at Kent's dollar store and taking home a shiny gold clutch purse. Sitting in a recliner beside her on Sunday afternoon sipping on a homemade vanilla or peanutbutter milkshake she whipped up with hand mixer.
Feeling like I was the best thing that ever happened to her. I haven't felt like that since she died. Yeah, I miss her still after all these years.

I miss my grandmother too. My mother and I lived with her for awhile when my parents were separated. After they got back together, I went to Grandmother's house every day after school, and spent a lot of time there in the summer since both of my parents worked. She was a great lady. She had an old coal burning stove I used to love being around in the fall and winter.

I don't understand that mean comment by GEL. I'm very lucky to have my both my parents and grandparents still living. My Mom is my best friend.
