Thank you, Brother DF! It was a legitimate church...they even had a building and tax exempt status.
And i had to take a bible study course before i was ordained.

PuF!

You took a course in Bible Study?!?

I am in the presence is expertise. So rare. Let me ask you a question which only you can answer.

Why is the intrinsic nature of mankind so different than that of god, if he made us in his image? Or is this a BS question, since the nature of god, as revealed in scripture, is entirely human-like in its cruel inadequacy?

Because an image is ONLY a flat image, not a 3D clone. Once a spirit/soul reaches what they, and they alone, deem as their ultimate level of perfection and spiritutaity...through the culmination of good karma obtained during various incarnations... then they become "3D".

IOW...We are freeze-dried entities and good karma is the liquid that makes us the real thing Big Grin

edit note....and the reason the nature of mankind is so different than that of God is because a flat image can be distorted in many ways by many factors.

there are no 3D images. Sculpture does not exist, nor holograms.

They were beautiful from the rocker on my front porch, too! Was it me or did the display seem shorter this year and the grand finale not as grand as the past few years?

Why yes, indeed. He is a tomcat but a neutered one. Does that make him Episcopalian?

Oh, is that where you live? I lived there when I was in college, too.

We watched while having dinner at the Renn Tower. Harvey Thompson Jr. played Stars Fell on Alabama when they first started.
