I was hoping when I clicked on it that you had picked the Ray Charles one! Great choice. Big Grin

Hoping you all have a safe and happy 4th of July.

Still a little wheazy in the chest. I slept great though, Thank you very much. I had the most interesting dream. I'll either call or email the details to you later. Apparently it was brought on by our conversation about WWII and the Confederacy.

Cool!!! That is the most awesome story about Geddon being stationed near where his grandfather is buried in Europe. I will ask my grandfather about his unit.

Thanks for the golden oldie- even older than I am!!! I am going to listen to them all. When I taught- before Veteran's Day was a holiday- I called WVNA at social studies time each year and requested 30 minutes of patriotic music. They always obliged with the marches. I heard the Stars and Stripes forever during dinner last night and almost marched around the table! I like your Yankee Doodle Sweetheart!

This one isn't patriotic in the normal sense, but it is on the fringe of the patriotic theme since soldiers are to be thanked for our freedom.
So, for the spouses of our soldiers, here is an oldie I enjoyed many years ago.
