A high school friend of mine used to live in an old house in Tuscumbia that has since been demolished. I used to spend the night over there quite often when we were younger. An avid writer, sometimes I would stay up while Troy slept in the other bed. On one occasion, I was writing while sitting in one of the chairs in the room. My coat was on the floor in front of me. I finished writing, turned the lamp off and immediately heard a strange noise like something falling. I turned the lamp back on to find Troy's gig bag for his guitar that had been in the chair 8 feet away was now on top of my coat, with Troy still snoring away.
Another time, Troy was still awake. We were sitting around talking when the VHS tape that was in the slot of the VCR completely inserted itself into the VCR, played, stopped, rewound, then ejected itself. This happened with no one within 5 feet of the VCR and with no working remote.
A metal head, Troy had many tapestries hanging from his bedroom walls with various bands on them. One of those floated about a foot from the wall for several seconds before settling back against the wall. No window, no fan, no A/C.
