if you are brave enough to take a boat out remember that just because you can see the top of the water doesn't mean something isn't just under the surface.
there will be a LOT of inexperienced boaters in the water.
BE CAREFUL!!!!!!
i always loved taking the boat to the fireworks. after several bad experiences i decide to forgo the boating. some people just never get it. also remember the wait to take out boats at the local ramps is HORRIBLE. don't be in some mad rush to pull up anchor after the fireworks are over. just hang out and be safe.
boats don't have brakes and the sun and alcohol don't mix well.
PLEASE EVERYONE BE CAREFUL AND STAY SAFE!

The water po po will be out in full force as well. Shoals Creek is in Lauderdale, therefore it's a dry county. Be careful!
