It has been over a week for me.

How about taking a look at my post on "Coming To

Hi Al and Max,

Thank you! Please encourage all of your atheist, secularist, and New Age friends to do the same. Then, I will have more time to concentrate on creating new posts of interest to those in the Christian community.

You might even consider asking the TimesDaily to create a special Atheist/Secularist/New Age Forum just for you. I give you my word; if you can do this -- I will stay out of your Forum. Of course, we would expect the same courtesy from you.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Just who is the "we" who thinks this is THEIR forum?
Look at the heading of the section you're in...it says "Religion" not "Christians that believe only as Bill believes." If that's what you want, then maybe YOU should ask the TD to create it for YOU. As it is, like it or not, "Religion" covers more than just the way YOU believe.

Wow, Bill,

Although we don't agree on all things 'Christian', and have hashed it out on this forum on numerous occasions, I stand with you and your right to post here.

If you aren't a fan of Bill, you have choices;

have a dialogue and argue your point, go to other sections of the forum for a while, put him on ignore and let it be, take his advice and request your own section of the forum, let it roll off like water off a duck's back.

But to put him on ignore and then proceed to discuss him seems contradictory and to defeat the purpose. It's actually kinda laughable. And then to pretend he said something he didn't even say is really petty and shows ignorance.

The idea that people like to gang up shows a lack of ideas or the ability to come up with a substantial arguement.

Childish at the least.

As misguided as he is, I respect Bill's right to post regardless. (Secretly, I have hope that one day he'll come around. lol)

I, too, respect his right to post. I also respect him for being so faithful to his religion. I respect anyone for that.
However, he should not think the religion section is just for those that share HIS brand of religion...it is for everyone with any thoughts on any religion. If he doesn't like that, then he should request his own section, not the other way around.

The government has been putting regular people on ignore for a long time, so why not?

Don't like it, don't read.
Disagree, say so.

Don't put Bill on "ignore". His brand of hatred and intolerance should be closely watched. I have had Bill attack me even when I was defending him and his lunacy. No, Bill's brand of religion has caused millions of murders, sparked religious wars, and was partly responsible for the holocaust as about 50% of Nazis were also Christians. I too hope someday Bill will see that we are all one and that Love has many paths, not just his. Bill's brand of religion is no more correct or incorrect than any other. Jesus is an answer, not THE answer.

Hi Net,

You tell us, "Don't put Bill on 'ignore.' His brand of hatred and intolerance should be closely watched. I have had Bill attack me even when I was defending him and his lunacy. No, Bill's brand of religion has caused millions of murders, sparked religious wars, and was partly responsible for the holocaust as about 50% of Nazis were also Christians."

It has often been said, "Keep your friends close; but, your enemy closer" -- so, I appreciate you keeping me, your enemy, close. Just possibly some little seed of salvation sown will penetrate fertile soil in your mind and in your heart.

Your comment about 50% of the Nazis being Christian -- is about as valid as saying that Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons are Christians. They may talk about a Jesus, they may wear a Christian hat -- but, these folks are far from being Christian; just as were your Nazis.

Then, you tell us, "I too hope someday Bill will see that we are all one and that Love has many paths, not just his."

You are very right that "Love" has many avenues -- and many forms. There is filial love; or brotherly love. There is eros love; or erotic, lustful love. And, there is agape love; divine, deep love.

However, Love and Salvation are two entirely different issues. You can be the most loving person in the world -- and still be lost spiritually. You can be the most moral person in the world and still be lost spiritually. While it is an admirable goal to love all people; it is even more admirable to love them enough to tell them the truth: "One cannot gain eternal life unless he has, by the grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ -- invited Him to come in and be Lord, Savior, and Master of your life." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

As I said, Net, Love and Salvation are two separate issues. I would rather see you saved and full of love -- rather than just full of love.

Finally, you tell us, "Bill's brand of religion is no more correct or incorrect than any other. Jesus is an answer, not THE answer."

Once again, this all depends upon which Jesus you have in mind -- and the goal you have. If you are just wanting to appear religious; any Jesus will do. You can follow the Jesus of the Jehovah's Witnesses; you can follow the Jesus of the Mormons; you can follow the Jesus of the New Age religion.

However, if you want salvation, eternal life in heaven with God, eternal security -- then Jesus Christ of the Bible, the Son of God, preexisting deity -- IS the ONLY answer; the ONLY WAY (John 14:6) -- the ONLY Jesus through Whom you can be saved (Acts 4:12). All the others called Jesus will lead one only to self chosen destruction.

You may scoff at this response; but, this is an example of loving another enough to tell him/her the Truth.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Hi Al:
I disagree with you. I think that Bill should be allowed, even encouraged to share his views to everyone, so that all can see him for the fool he is.

Hi Zuma,

Welcome to the Religion Forum. Just what we need; another atheist! Just joking. You are most welcome and we do appreciate all your comments and questions. I see you are another Alabama expatriate enjoying the beach life of Sunny California.

To all our Forum Friends: Have you ever noticed that our atheist/secularist Friends lay claim to high intelligence and great reasoning power -- yet, when they disagree with a Christian -- the only response they can, in all their great intelligence, think of is: "You are stupid!" -- "You are a fool!" -- "You are ignorant!" -- "You need help!" -- and on and on. It does appear that their Dawkins/Darwin/Hitchens University of Greater Knowledge -- is somewhat lacking in its depth.

1 Corinthians 1:20, "Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?" To this, we all, at least we Christians -- have to give a big "Amen!"

But, Zuma, doggone it! I was hoping that Al could convince his Friends to go along with him and Ignore Bill Gray. Imagine how much more time that would give me for writing new material for my fellow believers and new seekers to read. Now, you are going to spoil a good thing.

Once again, Zuma, welcome to the Religion Forum.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill
