I agree with you but I was just asking if you were trying to make a point and wanted any responses. It's hard to understand your english too. You misspell about everything you type.

Please don't bash on anyone's spelling unless yours is perfect. In your case the word "everything" is used incorrectly. The proper would be "every thing" in this case.

everything, means the entire situation, as a whole: ‘Everything in the house was destroyed’.
every thing, means each item in a given situation: ‘Every thing in her wardrobe was destroyed’.

If you are going to start correcting others, then get ready to be corrected. Be perfect or be silent, it is your choice.

Pam, feel free to post your opinions on addiction, typos and all. I know it is a horrible situation both for the addict and their loved ones. Has the person that you are referring to reached out for help, yet?

Hey easy there partner and grammar expert. I never said anything about perfection. I was asking about what she was getting at. The subject had a title of: Addcition. Then she wrote: it is a real problem when it happens to families .it has mine both drugs and drinking.it's made me leave the person i love very much.if he knew how much damage that stuff does to people he would stop.but he is the only one that can make that happen.

So I think I had a right to ask what she was talking about. Go grab a drink or something and chill out.

Hang in there. When he is ready to get help, he will. Hopefully he will contact you and your son and let you know he is ok. I'll pray for you.

Glad you posted. I know so many families that have been torn apart by drugs and alcohol. And they don't even realize what pain they are causing the loved ones in their lives. Hopefully your husband will see this and realize why you are no longer with him.

My brother in law has lost his wife, home, daughter and the life he knew all because of drugs. I've tried to help but you can't help someone who doesn't want it. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you.

Addcition is very hard on everyone involved. i have a brother who has been and off drugs for years. We had to give it all to God and just pray for him.
He [brother] is the one and only one who can change. I believe God helps those who help themselves.

Addiction is a sad thing. Weather it be drugs, alcohol, sex, shopping, food...ect ect. The only way someone can overcome this is to first admit they have a problem. They have to want to change. Then go seek help. Sometimes you have to change your "playgrounds and playmates". Meaning if you want to change you have to stay away from the places or people that would cause you to indulge in your addiction.
