How many of those stories would exist if the writers and their families faced torture and death for their beliefs?

I'm curious, in God's infinite wisdom, how does he choose who gets a miracle and who doesn't?

How does he qualify the beneficiaries of his miraculous powers?

Is there a biblical reference for this?

How does a parent decide what and when to give their child something? What reasons would a parent have for denying something their child wants? Does the child always understand?

I'll have to get back to you on Biblical reference, it would take some time and my render queue isn't that long.

Would you give your child (or family member) a miracle to say - save their life?

If you could save the lives of 1000 children with the death of 1, would you allow the 1 to die?

I'm sure that poor girl's death has not only shaken the faith of their fellow cult/church members, but other people across the country who may be in similar situations.

This is quite a wake up call for many parents who may have been tempted to do the same thing. An event like this could be the catalyst to encourage other parents to get out of a similar cult/church that would refuse treatment for their child.

We as humans may not understand everything about the world we are living in but GOD knows what he is doing and he will take care of those who believe in him. Those parents may not have know right away that their daughter suffered from Diabetes. The Lord givith and the Lord Taketh away. We the public may not agree with their way of parenting and dealing with this situation but they did what more people need to do in todays world. They put their total faith in God and asked for his will in this situation to be done.

This is something I read in a pastors home one day.
GOOD MORNING THIS IS GOD I WILL BE HANDELING ALL OF YOUR PROBLEMS TODAY DONT WORRY AND HAVE A GOOD DAY.

If they truly had faith, they wouldn't have challenged God by refusing to treat their child's illness. What they did required no faith at all, just stupidity.

What they did was wrong. Hopefully others will learn from that situation and leave whatever cult encourages them to withhold health care from a sick child.

You condone the killing of an innocent child, What4. I hope our readers can appreciate the restraint I am showing in not calling you the names I want to use right now. Suffice it to say that Jesus Christ almighty you are a stupid, stupid man.

At the end of your life, what will you say when you finally realize that all the time you spent on your knees, all the energy you have devoted to your church, all the money you have diverted away from your family to people who squander it, has all been a waste?

What will you tell the man in the mirror when he looks at you and says, "You supported the sacrifice of a child in the name of an imaginary friend!"

I have already realized all that, What4. I and other free thinkers are a step ahead of you. We realize that human intelligence is the most precious gift the universe may have ever produced. We have but one shot and we damm well better make the best of it becasue the universe is an unfeeing, uncaring, cold, hostile place that will kill us eventually.

Could god have performed a miracle, like in the bible and healed her? Saved her life?

Why do some adults have to resort to name calling if one disagrees with another? I just don't understand that at all. Confused

I realize that calling someone names doesn't make it so but it is just so childish to do it the first place.

NO!
I DO NOT CONDONE THE KILLING OF AN INNOCENT CHILD.
I don't even condone it if someone does it foolishly or accidentally in ignorance. You continually twist statements don't you GoFish. All I said was since you call these foolish parents murderers, then what does that make you should you destroy the faith of your child and he winds up spending eternity in hell? If a parent is a murderer for their ignorance, then what does that make you when you find out in the end that you are dead wrong? These parents foolishly played the odds with the life of their child, and you are foolishly playing the odds with the life of your child and others. You don't see the parallel do you? What they did was wrong. What you are doing is just as wrong. What they did cost their child many years of precious life on this earth. What you do may cost your child eternally.

I have already had many prayers answered with many of them defying the odds of probability. If you ask God one thing and you get an answer that astounds you, in such a way that you can’t help but realize that God did it, then that is more proof than you have as an atheist. However, when you have 9 or 10 cases that defy probability and each and every one of them point clearly to God, then that seals the case tight. That doesn’t include all the other prayers that God has answered that I believe strongly that He had a hand in, but I have less overwhelming proof. No, my prayers have not been a waste of time. I have wasted time doing things that matter little when I could be praying and being about God’s business.

I have never supported the sacrifice of anybody. From the very beginning I said the parents of this child was wrong in what they did. Neither do I support the sacrifice of your child that you make in the name of your spaghetti god.

Ah, that’s right. Nobody gets out alive. Yet you do have a choice in what follows. God has given you free thought. What you do with it is up to you. I’d prefer that you keep your thoughts to yourself so that you only hurt yourself. But you are intent on gambling with the lives of others, even though you have no proof you are right. Let me tell you again. You are dead wrong. As sure as this universe and life exists, there is a God. I know that for a fact.
