....Hehe, it may be an economic thing. You know, increase sales in heaters and insulation. Oh wait,,,,naah we don't have a heater czar in DC yet. Or do we? And if so,has he been vetted? I mean, I would hate to see the Amish guy selling the fake heaters get in office....but who knows!!

BTW Folks, I realize we have much to be thankful for with weather warnings from Mike Melton and his staff. The post above was sarcastic and very feeble attempt at humor. Thank you Mike Melton for what you do to alert everyone!!!

From what I read two things are coming together in January which will make it bitter in the South.

We've got a good sledding hill at our house, and we've also got a 13 yo who's been praying for enough snow to sled for several years. Just don't want a repeat of the ice storm of '94.

Snow at the farm is straight out of Currier & Ives. Some of y’all have seen pictures.

I’ve stacked enough seasoned oak and hickory for the winter plus some.

Here's hoping.

The street in front of our new house is going to make a heck of a sledding hill if we get any of the white stuff.

We've got two 4X4s and a 4 wheeler that can get us up and down the hill, I say BRING ON THE SNOW!!!

wow................after spending the last three years in the south i don't miss the 6 months of white stuff for a minute. Besides i don't think southerners could drive in the stuff........all it's good for is to watch and make snowmen!!!!

Southerns can't drive anyway. Big Grin

They have two speeds, grandpaw slow and idiot lightning.

And they brake for yard sales, deer, and beer.

They do not brake for traffic lights, ambulances, and stop signs.
