I like this one for the belly button area:

It'd look so HOT on a tweenager, dontcha think?

Well, as we don't live in a particularly repressed area, the tweens and teens here are already wearing these. Quite a few already have body piercings and tattoos as well...and if you're under 18 (even here in CA) you have to have parental permission so there you go. FYI, these are NOT poor, un-educated kids either. They are from very well-to-do families so no "white trash" labeling please. Out here it's viewed as just another form of artistic self-expression, like unusual clothing, haircuts and dye jobs.

ANY parent who would give permission for a minor to have a tattoo or some freaky piercing (not ear piercing), should have their children taken away and parental rights terminated. Allowing tats or weird piercing on a minor should be recognized as child abuse, and the parents should be punished as such. I don't care how "well-to-do" they are, that is TRASHY

Thanks DHS, IU agree with you.
I once considered getting a tattoo, I have never regretted the decision I made not to though. If I had of gotten one I can't say I would not be regretting it. Now I am proud I don't have any tattoos or piercings. The closest thing I have to either is several hard earned scars, which is not by choice.
Sometimes tattoos looks OK on some people, but mist of the time I find it very unattractive.

Looking at the smile on the girls face, and people don't understand why we have a problem with child pornography!

Someone has told that little girl that it is cute, that it is acceptable, and that it is a positive thing. She is smiling because she thinks she has done something pleasing to others.

Unfortunately for that poor girl, the vast majority of society does not agree.

That article made me sad for those poor little girls. I just wonder what kind of women they will grow up to become.

TSC, I totally agree also!
The only reason people get tattoos in places like that is for other people to see!
I think the term 'tramp stamp' is very appropriate for having a tattoo where you have to show the crack of your butt to be able to see it!!!

Some of them might not make it...Remember Jon Benet. That happens when you try to make an adult out of a child.

And we wonder why today's youth (many) are so out of hand? It begins with "small" (as some would consider) things like this. Sad.

Life's too short....just be nice.

First off, let me say that I don't condone the behavior of parents who allow their under 18 teens to get tattoos or piercings. I merely made a statement - not a promotion. Second, if we're going to talk about parental decisions that should cause the children to be taken away - I think it should apply to those parents of infants who take them to get their ears pierced. Those poor babies have NO say in what is happening to them and it's horrible to watch.

Secondly, for those who say tattoos on adults are trashy or trampy or whatever insulting words you might choose to use...I have a solution for you. DON'T GET ONE! But that is your OPINION and yours alone. It is NOT mine nor my husbands. We both have tattoos that we consider to be tasteful and each spouse considers sexy. My next tattoo WILL be in the lower small of my back (the ubiquitous tramp stamp) but it is for my husband and myself - no one else. I don't wear low rider jeans that show it off if I bend over and no string bikinis either.

If you consider me to be a tramp because I want to do something for myself that makes me feel sexy and that drives my husband crazy with passion then I feel terribly sad for you. It's just one more confirmation that I was correct in my decision to leave the Shoals and never return. No place I've lived since has had the same repressive feeling and philosophy that difference and diversity is a BAD thing and not welcomed there. I think that negative mind set is one of the leading reasons that nothing progressive is happening there and all you can seem to do is attract people who are shopping for a place to live out the last few years of their lives and then die.

I have no idea why, but I know they do. If they didn't then there wouldn't be any demand for this:

and who is this junk marketed to???
