OH, Im not worried about that.  Most that know me, through my posts, know that I dont mean any harm. But I call it like I see it, thats on and off the computer. lol Especially when it comes to the welfare of my children, or anyone elses for that matter. Kids need to be kids, not young adults, not tweenagers. KIDS. |

Nobody gets "mad" because you state your opinion, Paq. There's a big difference between posts STOI does and the ones you do. STOI states an opinion, while you seem to do whatever you can to hijack most threads you post on with your trolling. STOI stays on topic, you do not. STOI doesn't send threatening PMs (to my knowledge), but you do. See the difference, Paq? It's okay to disagree except when you continually do it for disagreements sake and to provoke others, which is the feeling I get about you. |

Hold your horses. I did NOT imply in any way that it takes my tattoos to get my husband hot. That's your spin dear. We were together and quite passionate with each other before either of us ever got any body art. As stated previously, it's a PERSONAL CHOICE that can and should be made by an adult as to whether they want to have body art. He and I BOTH choose to have it applied, first for ourselves, second for each other. Same goes with my navel ring, nose piercing and ear cartilage piercing. And all the other, less controversial (I hope) things I do, such as hair cut/color, etc. First and foremost, the things I choose to do with my appearance are for me. My husband is fully aware of that and would never presume to tell me what to do with my body. It just so happens he likes most of the things I do and he applauds my choices of self-expression. Unlike some "he men" who tell their wives what to wear and how they better not get their hair cut short...sort of like my ex-husband. One of the many reasons why he IS an ex. As I've stated before, the PROBLEM I have is with people who make broad sweeping statements that all people who have tattoos and/or piercings are trashy. That would be like me saying all people who live in trailer parks or mobile homes are uneducated, white trash. While it is true that SOME are, it's simply not fair or accurate to say ALL are. Same with those of us who prefer to have body art and piercings. |

See, I dont always disagree.......me and sassy just agreed on something....hehehe. I think the reason this topic gets me a little flustered is moms are forgetting what their role is. I hope that my daughter and I are and remain friends forever. But, if it means letting her do whatever she wants, including growing up too fast.....then I would rather be her mom than friend. If she were to ask me for a booty tatoo fake or not, then she would get a long mama speech about how perverted weirdo's will be looking at it, about making sure we are classy and not trashy. And no Salty.......only PM's I have had have been pleasant. TSC and Manda and one man about a dog....... |
