WHILE READING THE FORUMS ON THE BOAT ACCIDENT I NOTICED THAT SOMEONE STATED THERE WAS A DOCTOR ON BOARD AND DRUGS WERE INVOLVED. TO WHO EVER GAVE THIS INFORMATION IT IS FALSE!!! ONE OF THE VICTIMS BROTHER IN LAW IS A DOCTOR. IT WOULD BE WONDERFUL IF PEOPLE WOULD STOP AND THINK BEFORE THEY PUT SOMETHING ON THE INTERNET FOR THE FAMILY TO SEE, OR SPEAK A RUMOR AND HAVE NO IDEA IF IT IS TRUE OR NOT. THESE VICTIMS CAN NOT DEFEND THEMSELVES AND THAT WITHIN ITSELF MAKES THE COMMENTS DISGUISTING!!! GET YOUR FACTS AND KNOW THEY ARE CORRECT BEFORE YOU START SPREADING THEM. THINK ABOUT THE FAMALIES AND PRAY FOR THEM INSTEAD OF TALKING ABOUT THEIR LOVED ONES. I PERSONALLY KNOW ONE OF THE VICTIMS AND SHE WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON AND A NURSE WHO HELPED PEOPLE AND TOUCHED MANY LIVES. LET'S REMEMBER THEM FOR THE GOOD THEY DID AND THE LIVES THEY TOUCHED AND PUT THE RUMORS TO REST.
Listen pal, the other thread was closed for a reason. Don't try to rehash it all. Incidentally, the poster you speak of never "stated" anything, rather said right off the bat she/he had "heard" it and later apologized at least twice if not more. There have been no more comments like that for several days now. He/she couldn't remove that post because one someone quotes you, you can't take it off their post. Don'tcha think they woulda if they'd coulda? To come on here so far after the fact tells me that you're just trying to stir it all up again, so lay off, please. I also have to wonder who you really are. Funny that you just now registered and started out like this. I believe you are someone we already know. Alas, a troll by any other name... and if youare really new here, please respect the "topic closed" heading.

You're correct in what you say but shouting it won't get your point across any quicker. Maybe you could change your post to lower case letters. My sympathy to the families & friends. It is just so sad.

2) Tnort, please note how many days it took after that post you are referring to to get the topic closed. Several. Did you bother reading the rest of it? Family memebers DID come here, they DID see it, then they saw others that were sadly totally taken out of context and starting attacking the fine people here, most of whom have been praying for them all this time. People were defending the families right to privacy and got told off by the families they were tring to stand up for. I am sorry for getting on your case. I jumped the gun, and I know it. Please let that other thread go. They really should have deleted it instead of just closing it, and this is exactly why. Again, I am sorry.

I can't figure out how to delete after I have posted a view my self. I have no hard feelings toward anyone, and I believe I can speak for me and my wife. Our family was told by TVA that they were not searching today so that the divers could rest and the command post could come up with A new plan of action. I bring this up because on one local news channel I beleive I saw the commander of TVA Police saying they were searching all day today. Does anyone know?

understandable. anyone would stand up for their good friend. prayers for you and all others who knew these people.
I grew up in Hamilton and went to school with these people. My heart goes out to the families. Does anyone know if it was "Timmy" Ray Peters? He was a teenage boyfriend of mine and have not seen any pictures released yet.....? Thanks Also, no funeral arrangements listed that I can find.
