If I'm not mistaken, they both moved to #3 on the same weekend also. The state of Alabama hasn't produced 2 national championships in the same year since the 1992 season when the Tide and Jax State took home the crowns. Of course UNA followed immediately after with THREE in a row so the state had 5 national titles in 4 years.
