ROLL Tide!!!...And LoVibe...Florida is the best team in the nation, at this time...meaning? Florida did play a good game yesterday..but to say they are the best in the nation right now...were you talking about yesterday? Texas Tech looked great last night..there are several football teams that are doing great...but Alabama got to #1 by playing one game at a time, and they will continue to do that...

The polls aren't out yet, so Texas is still #1 right now. I am a Bama fan, but I'm not sure who should be #1. Texas Tech really impressed last night so they are definitely a possibility. Bama is #2 so they may move up. Nothing really matters until you hoist that Sears Trophy at the end of the season.

Let me just say as a Texas Tech fan, that the game last night was the most exciting one I have ever seen. AND thanks to TTU, Alabama is now 1!!

I think he is referring to the fact that Florida has absolutely obliterated their last 3 opponents, all respectable SEC teams. Losing to Ole Miss was a real wake up call to them and they haven't looked back. At least one person agreed and they even got a first place vote in the AP poll. Alabama deserves to be #1, simply because they are 9-0, but they really haven't played like a #1 team since the first half of the Georgia game. |
