Sounds a lot like woman trouble, or rather trouble from someone who didn't like HM with the particular woman he was with.

Last update on the Tennessean didn't mention a third victim, but it did identify the female victim. It wasn't his wife.

Very tragic and sad.

Hated to here the news!! McNair was always one of my favorite Titans. Never did get used to him being a Raven. My prayers go out to his family tonight.

This states basically same thing, but from boyfriend's perspective:

The former boyfriend of Sahel Kazemi, who died in a double shooting with Steve McNair on Saturday, suggested to the Tennessean that the married former NFL QB was leading on the 20-year-old.

Keith Norfleet, Kazemi's boyfriend for four years before they broke up five months ago, told the Tennessean he came to pick up the car for Kazemi after she was arrested on Thursday morning for suspicion of drunken driving.

Norfleet said McNair was in the car with her when the stop occurred, a fact that was not in the police affidavit but was confirmed by police Saturday night. McNair later bailed Kazemi out, according to bail bondsmen.

Norfleet said she told him she was seeing McNair, who she met while working as a waitress at Dave & Busters.

He was worried about her dating a married man and hopeful they'd get back together. They had been living together for four years, since they moved from her family's home in Jacksonville, Fla., to Nashville.

"She is the sweetest girl, and she did not deserve this," Norfleet said upon learning of her death. "He was making her believe they were going to be together, and everything would be perfect."

This makes it sound like she shot his and then killed herself:

quote:
In a press conference, Don Aaron with Metro Police said McNair was shot multiple times, and Kazemi was shot once in the head.

Physical evidence may make that apparent, but it takes a few days.

I hate to be vain, but if he's going to risk his marriage and unknowingly his life, he should've used his star power to at least reel in a better looking woman. TMZ.com had some pictures posted.

I find it interesting how the media up here is spinning things. In this story, he was having a "brief romance". Not once did it use the word "affair".

Link

As a poster on that site said, once you get a marriage certificate, you're not allowed "brief romances".

The real tragedy is with Mrs. McNair. Not only did she find out her husband was killed, but also he was having an affair all in one blow. Just one of those would be devastating by itself, both is unimaginable. The word "distraught" is an understatement.

I don't feel sorry for McNair, he made a very selfish choice and showed poor character. I feel terrible for his widow and children, as well as the family of the girl he was having an affair with. They are the ones hurting the most.
