Can anyone believe that urban left Tebow in with a BIG lead, only to possibly lose the guy? Is this ignorance, stupidity or what? Sounds like the Shula-Jelks debacle after "The Catch".(I'm a Bama fan, btw)

Tim Tebow might very well be the best all round football player I have ever seen, and he IS a FIERCE competitor. I think he is the heart and soul of the Gators and deserves playing time. I am not a Florida fan but My prayer is for a speedy and complete recovery for Tebow.

Stupid decision by Meyer!!! They were up 31-0 with 3 mins to go in the 1st quarter...That's when Tebow shoulda put the headphones on.

College football is a much different game than pro. It has a lot more stoppages of play. It's easy to sit back and say it was stupid, but it's what's normally done in college football.

You rarely see starters taken out until the 4th quarter, unless it's like against an FCS school and you're up by 60.

The only reason I would have had him out would have been because of his respitory problems, but had it not been for that, I wouldn't have blamed Meyer. It's pretty much the way things are done in college football. College coaches are so concerned with losing that lead quick, which can happen, allbeit very unlikely.

That was Tyrone Prothro. After breaking his leg,.. it was easy to say Shula should have pulled him. Without injury theres no problem. I do agree with those kinds of leads, let your younger players get some experience. If the game dictates the starters need to return, then do it.

I did not see the hit Tebow took this weekend, but the way Florida runs him in their spread offense I knew it was only a matter of time before he would be injured. He is one tough son of a gun, but just proved he's no superman!!

Helmet to helmet, illegal hit (not called), followed by incidental knee to the head from a team mate. Tebow was flat of his back, unconsicous.

I'm not a Tebow fan, but I enjoy watching him play. Plus, I hate Kentucky about as bad as I hate Florida, if not worse.

That being said, the hit was completely LEGAL. It was not helmet to helmet. Tebow never saw the hit coming, which is why it looked so brutal. The injury didn't come from the hit though, it came from the knee to the back of the head by his teammate, which was completely accidental. But anytime you are falling one way at a rapid speed, then get your head snapped back in the opposite direction, you're at risk for a major injury.

indeed , coach, tebow was probably within a hair of suffering a crippling injury....... strength and conditioning routine, with a sprinkle of luck, spared tebow from disaster....

i once had an awkward moment..... just to see what it was like.
