2 Big games in the SEC this week
Allbarn goes to Tennessee and visits the LameKitten. This is a BIGGIE for Allbarn for a spot in the top 20. I do not see it happening. UPSET special of the week No need to call your bookie. Tennessee 31 Allbarn 16. Sorry Allbarn Fans. Just the truth.

Georgia at LSWHO? The Tigers have problems at QB and a medocure offense. BUT Ga has major problems on defense. Should be a pretty good game. LSWHO 24 Ga 17.

Ok Bama against the WILDCATS fro Kentucky. The Cats did not play well at all last weekend. I see in my crystal ball a change coming. Yes the cats play better but not good enough. I agree with the ESPN commentators THIS BAMA TEAM DOES NOT HAVE A WEAKNESS. Bama 36 Cats 9

Can't take you seriously, you are just one of those flamers that embarrass the good Alabama fans. You use absolutely no logic in picking the Auburn or Alabama scores, just your bias. I'm pretty sure you would be upset and blast Auburn if they cured cancer. Please reevaluate you life and realize that it is just football, and while it is fun and entertaining, it isn't life or death.

For what is worth, I think Bama wins easily, while the Auburn/Tennessee game is a little bit more difficult. This match-up becomes strength vs strength (AU Offense vs UT Defense) and weakness vs weakness (AU Defense vs UT Offense). If it becomes a shootout, it goes Auburn's way, if it low scoring, UT has a slight upperhand. May come down to which is weaker, Auburn's D or Tennessee's O, and right now I think Auburn may have a decent enough first string D to pull it out.

I agree 100%. MrC seems to be somewhat of an idiot. I mean that in a nice way.

*also hard to be an upset when Tennessee is favored as of today*

But don't let the facts skew your biased opinion.

I think Tennessee defense will win the game but their office won't put out much, TN 17 AU 9.

As for Alabama and Kentucky even when Alabama sucked they beat Kentucky, Alabama 44 KY 13. I hope they brought their KY because it will be a metaphoric rape.

Georgia gets beat by LSU 34 to 24.

Vols-Tigers,....... Hard for me to pick this one. The Vols are favored by a point and a half, probably due to home field advantage. I see a low scoring game as both defenses will dominate the other O. Going out on a limb, Tigers 17 Vols 13.

LSU-Georgia...... Another tough one. The Dawgs are a 2,5 pt favorite right now, again probably due to home field. Neither team has impressed me. LSU got by Miss St and Arky lit up the Dawgs D. I see the Bengal Tigers winning this one, 31-24.

Tide-Cats,.... The Wildcats could make this one close. I have to disagree Mr Charles,.... the Tide does have weaknesses. Special teams and a spot to fill left by Hightower. Playing against a hostile crowd this week is the first for the season for Bama. A special team let down and a hostile crowd could change momentum. There are no gimmes in the SEC,... I do think the Tide can handle the Cats though,.... 42-10 Bama.

I agree with the bama fans on here that Auburn will score their season low so far.
Auburn 34
Tenn 17
Auburn will stack the box, and force Crompton into turnovers. Auburn beat Miss St worse than my prediction here, yet I think Miss St. may be a lil better than Tenn at this point.

Man... I give Bama props for playin Va Tech first, but this is 4 cakes in a row now. Two teams ranked in the bottom 20 in the country, then the last place team in the West followed by most likely the last place team in the East(Battle between them and Vandy). Bama rolls of course.... But could be closer than the experts think. They may be thinkin about keepin pace with Florida's thumpin of the Cats last week(31-0 with 3 mins left in first quarter), and also, Brooks may have his boys up for pride's sake. But Bama will pull away late.
Ala 42
Kent 14

Auburn is the Rodney Dangerfield of college football..."no respect".
Every team the Aubbies play is a world beater and the only reason that 4-0 juggernaut is not in the top 25 is that vast, nationwide conspiracy against the Tiggers. Roll Eyes

I haven't seen that, the reason Auburn isn't in the top 25 is because of last season. Do I think a 4-0 team should be in the top 25? Yes, but not because of who they beat, but how they beat their opponents. After seeing Auburn put a dismal offense on the field last year, it is a sight for sore eyes to see them putting up points and rolling up yardage. But you let your true colors show by referring to Auburn and Auburn fans as "Aubbies", which shows some pretty sad insecurities when you turn to name calling about a football team to make yourself feel better. All Auburn can do is win games, the rest isn't up to them.

(and remember, it is just football)

True colors ?
Anyone who's been here a while knows I'm a Bama fan. I've been a Bama fan for over fifty years. I've been called a "Bammer" (among other things) many times. I never took offense. I didn't realize "Aubbie" was a derogatory term. If it hurt your feelings, I apologize.

In the immortal words of Sgt. Hulka...."lighten up, Francis".

Should Auburn be in the top 25 ? Perhaps. Polls, especially at this point of the season, are mainly about the perception of the relative strength of a football team. At this time, due too last year combined with their schedule this year, the national perception of Auburn is that they are not a strong team.
Washington beat USC, but (other than UW fans) you won't find many that think Washington is stronger than USC. Only Auburn can change their national perception. They could start by beating UT Saturday.
