JJP,

My records show quite the opposite, except for rather stupid rhetorical questions. I suggest you review before making such statements.

My Dear Howard,

My, you can be contrary! I will stick with the King's English, thank you very much.

Palin's statement is clear enough, "I think God's will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that."

Do you think that God ignores adultery, yet sits around and ponders pipelines?

To borrow a phrase from the Great Churchill, the Republican mind "is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma."

Do you have a hotline to God? maybe the person you are referring has asked for forgiveness, which makes his adultery only of interest to obsessed people .

I am a Democrat and my family has attended the Pentecostal Church their whole life. My Grandfather was even a Pentecostal Preacher many years ago before he passed away. I will say this once again. The Assembly of God and Pentecostal Church are not one and the same. So whatever source this information is coming from is incorrect. If you will notice in Florence we have both Pentecostal Churches and Assembly of God Churches. These are different. Just like Baptist, Church of Christ, etc. are different. I am NOT a fan of Sara Palin's but I do not dislike her because of the church she attends and nobody should be afraid of her because of it. Her church is no different than any other. Don't condemn a whole religion that you know nothing about because you don't or you wouldn't be combining the two together. Just like you shouldn't condemn Obama for the remarks that his preacher said. He couldn't be held accountable for what another said from the pulpit. Just as Sara Palin cannot be held accountable for something her Assembly of God Preacher may or may not say from the pulpit.

It is self evident Governor Palin was praying for sucess in their endeavor and that it be God's will, not that she was God's prophet upon the earth.

Buggles and JJP try to weasel word statements of those they dislike, but are hardly masters of the technique.

Buggles,

Since the ascendancy to the throne in 1953, upon the death of George VI, the UK has not had a king. And, since Elton John moved to Atlanta, their is only one reigning queen. Therefore, it should be Queen's English!

No, I'm not new to reading them I just don't like all Democrats and Pentecostals being lumped into one category. All Democrats are not as outspoken as JJ. I will speak my mind when I need to but I try not to lump all groups together.

Hooray! For once I agree with you. I think that is why most of us are over here and not somewhere speaking with a British accent.
