LinkKudo`s to Whoopi for staying classy and respectful but Behar is just so full of hate that she can`t even keep politics out of Veteran`s Day.

That is correct some people can't look past party lines and always try to turn something into their own personal agenda. Every person that has worn, wears, or will wear the uniform knows the ultimate sacrifice.

You mean "respect" like that shown to Max Cleland? John Kerry? This is another case of "Do as I say, not as I do". Practice what you preach.

Lady snake,

No, Kerry and Cleland's treatment does not justify blanket disrepect foe veterans.

Then EVERYONE has the responsibility to lead by example. Respect for our nations veterans should have nothing to do with their political affiliation. They earned our respect no matter who they vote for.

"Behar is a Bwitch".

I would also say that the "Swiftboat Veterans for Lies" are sons of "bwitches". Same goes for the dogs that questioned Max Clelands patriotism.

So there is a time expiration for disrespecting our nations veterans? Or is it that politics trumps service? Grow up.

Believe me meansnake, I'm Grown Up. I was merely pointing out the topic was of a comment Behar made TODAY, Nov 11, 2008. As far as Kerry and Max, ask another Viet Vet and see how they feel about them. Kerry served than degraded his fellow service members for his own career from what I understand. Besides, Bush called for Swift Boats to stop their attack. Behar is always attacking.

John McCain disagrees with your claim.

In 2002, Cleland lost his bid for a second Senate term to Representative Saxby Chambliss. Supporters blamed a Chambliss TV ad featuring the likenesses of Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, while criticizing Cleland's votes against homeland security measures.[8] The ad, which Cleland supporters claimed questioned the senator's patriotism[9], was removed after protests from prominent politicians including Republicans like John McCain and Chuck Hagel.[10] Chambliss supporters claimed the ad didn't question Cleland's patriotism, but rather his judgment.[11]

Read the quote again mean, it says the ad was REMOVED AFTER PROTESTS FROM John McCain and Hagel.
