Zeb, It would seem that the world has begun to spin in reverse as I agree with your assessment completely. If he could be spread out on a field, the yield would be 10 fold.
Wow, I always wondered if I would know it if I ever entered the Twilight Zone. No eerie music, but JJPAUL is on target. Good enough sign for me.

These challenges are simply a waste of taxpayer dollars. Al needs to take his toys and go home. It is interesting to note that the latest recount just made him further behind. Yes, it is less than 1,000 votes, but I don't think it is worth the time and money. If Minnesota law says a majority determines the win then Al lost.

The man is a phony. He isn't even Al Franken. He is a washed up Jewish comedian working under as assumed name...and campaigning under as assumed name because the voting public would not recognize his real name.

Franken is a bright and thoughtful candidate. His past work as a comedian does not in any way disqualify him from making a run at the Senate. He ran an intelligent, focused campaign and almost won--and might win still. All the vitriol in this string does not change any of this. You people are just a bunch of assassins!

Like the republicans who have many crooks, we do have a few bad apples in our party too.

There is no hanky panky going on in MN, there's no room for it. The Dems tried to sneak in some suspicious ballots, but were shot down. The recount is under several microscopes.
Under the rules of MN, he's lost. He should give it up and salvage some shred of dignity.
