Well dole,
Give your reasons why she was so wrong.

Palin Attorney Threatens Lawsuits
Outgoing Alaska Gov.'s Lawyer Warns of Legal Action Against News Outlets that Publish "Defamation"

(AP) The abruptness of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's announcement and the mystery surrounding her plans has fed widespread speculation, but Palin attorney Thomas Van Flein on Saturday warned legal action may be taken against bloggers and publications that reprint what he calls fraudulent claims.

"To the extent several websites, most notably liberal Alaska blogger Shannyn Moore, are now claiming as 'fact' that Governor Palin resigned because she is 'under federal investigation' for embezzlement or other criminal wrongdoing, we will be exploring legal options this week to address such defamation," Van Flein said in a statement. "This is to provide notice to Ms. Moore, and those who re-publish the defamation, such as Huffington Post, MSNBC, the New York Times and The Washington Post, that the Palins will not allow them to propagate defamatory material without answering to this in a court of law."

Palin has kept a low profile since her abrupt announcement Friday at a hastily called news conference at her home in suburban Wasilla, outside Anchorage. All of her public communication since then has been on the social networking sites Facebook and Twitter, or through statements released by her office.

At the same time, Palin informed her spokesman David Murrow early Saturday that someone using the name "exgovsarahpalin" on Twitter was spreading a false rumor that there was to be a party at her suburban home in Wasilla, outside Anchorage. Palin was afraid her home would be mobbed, and security was dispatched, Murrow said.

The wrong pick as running mate or wrong in general?

I was speaking of your post in it's entirety. Even if you'd never mentioned MJ, you're post is ridiculous.

OK, since I need to spell it out, the entirety of my post was a joke, except for the part where I said that she must have done something terrible. I still wouldn't be surprised if it comes out that she has done something illegal or unethical. I would think the same of any governor, Republican or Democrat, who resigned suddenly with no explanation. I was simply trying to start a thread on the topic in a humorous manner. Geez Louise.

Misinterpretations happen, and you did get the ball rolling!
Next time, put a j/k or happy face. It helps.

There's really nothing I can say. I don't agree with you at all, but you seem to have your mind made up.

Where do I start? I'm not hoping to have anyone here agree with me. I'm putting forth a hypothesis which seems to fit the available evidence. The media already admitted to being biased heavily in favor of Obama, and their role in our society has shifted from simple reporting to molding public opinion. It's a fact that Dan Rather reported, as fact, things that were simply lies; again, in an attempt to make GWB look bad. It's also a fact that the ABC network loaded the audience in the health care presentation.

You want a credible candidate to come against Obama? It really doesn't matter who it will be if you assume Obama "owns" the media. I believe that to be the case.

It is a fact that, in socialist countries, the government controls the media. Winston Smith, in 1984, was employed by the government to rewrite history to coincide with the party line. It's not so much a stretch to see that things are headed in pretty much that direction, with political correctness changing the social fabric of our country.

Do I have my mind made up? If I did, I'd already be at war with this government. I'm hopeful that the people of this country will ultimately realize what a bill of goods has and is being sold in the name of "change". It's not too late, but it's an uphill battle for anyone who challenges this liberal, socialist-leaning government we have now.

Marian-

Your lame attempt at humor doesn't excuse the fact that you assigned an unhealthy and ruiness motive for Palin's stepping down, without any benefit of the doubt.

I think you're bluffing, after being called on it, but I realize you don't care what I think, so spare me.

You truly believe that I truly believe that Sarah Palin either killed Michael Jackson, was Mark Sanford's mistress, or that one of her kids was impregnanted by Alex Rodriguez? Okay then.

I still think that she has done something wrong. It's probably something terribly boring having to do with misappropriation of funds. Time will tell.

Now you are just being absurd and you know it!!!
For a librarian, you sure have trouble with reading and comprehension. Pitiful and lame.
Can you find a children's forum to post this stuff on?

Vile he sometimes was. Right he almost always was. You and your ilk have been on the wrong end of the political stick the whole time. He predicted Palin wouldn't finish her term as governor. She didn't. He predicted that she was in over her head. She was.

We may not have heard the last of Sarah Palin, but she just quit the highest office she will ever hold.

Wz may have lost his or her head every now and then and spewed a good quantity of vile, but he or she had something you didn't have and still don't have. That would be credibility.

LMM,

On why I think she’s wrong in general, let’s just agree to disagree. I’m not a Republican, and there’s really no value, at least in this thread, of going back and forth on particular issues.

As to why I think she was the wrong pick as running mate, I just basically don’t think she did the campaign or the party any good. Sarah Palin has a strong ability to energize a certain type of conservative-minded person, but I don’t see her as capable of selling the message to people who haven’t already bought into it. Republicans desperately need that right now. This fact played a large part in my original question. If you think she has a chance at succeeding in national politics, or just really, really think her voice represents your views better than anyone else, I encourage you to continue to support her. However, I do tend to think that Republicans, in general, probably like someone else a little better, or don't honestly believe she is the most electable candidate they have. So, I don't understand the fixation.

You are the one being absurd. You and some others seem to have absolutely no comprehension!

ps. Do you have proof she didn't kill Michael Jackson?
