She must have done something really terrible. Was she Sanford's "Argentine" girlfriend? Did she kill Michael Jackson? Maybe one of her kids really is pregnant by Alex Rodriguez?!

Something tells me there is more to this story. She might be jealous of all the attention Sanford's affair and MJ's death have got from the media. Maybe this will finally convince everyone how unstable she is. I hope it means that I don't have to listen to that shrill, nasal gibberish any more... And I certainly hope Americans have enough sense to NOT elect her president!!

Maybe she is sick of all the hateful comments about her life, her family and her intelligence.

I did something today I almost NEVER do. I went to the DailyKos just to see what kind of absolute trash they would spew, and spew they did. which is ironic when you think about the support for "hate crimes" legislation over there.

What defies common sense is that some otherwise intelligent people will vote for Democratic or Republican puppets and perpetuate the decades long slide into bankruptcy, overspending and very poor leadership.

Why would we settle for these charlatans?

I think we deserve better.

Most likely, she's withdrawing to restore family fortunes from the false accusations spewed against her. She's also helping Alaska get on with state business.

After those fortunes are restored -- then, it will be time for Dems to worry!

The Obomination is leading us there, no doubt.

I see two likely sides to this story:
(1) There is something she doesn't want released (doubtful)
(2) She wants to lead the Republican Party (most likely) and run for president in 2012 (most likely).

If she can't take the heat that she is getting then she wouldn't make a good candidate for any office. Most people in office get burned. I don't think the heat from the public is the problem. And this forum definitely is not predominately Democratic.

For the sake of the Republican Party I hope she finally pulls out of the limelight. I don't think she is the best candidate. But, if she does it will be interesting. As the presidential candidate rather than vice presidential candidate the heat will be intense.

I, for one would like to think she is gearing up to run for Prez in 2012 by challenging this out of control Obama administration and Pelosi/Reid Inc.

I don't presume to know what is her motivation to leave the Governors office or the outcome of a possible presidential bid, because I don't know and I feel strongly that you guys do not know either.

I doubt it is true and I hope it is not true. That would definitely be a bad move for the Republican Party and I don't see how Faux would do that to their bread and butter.
