Carl Hiaasen provides some worthy insights into the evolution of Ms. Palin's much-anticipated book. Ah, well, the majority of those buying it probably read no more than one book per decade, ever so slowly scanning the text and moving their lips accordingly.

Silly little comments from a silly man. At least, her book wasn't ghosted by a red terrorist.

I would say pure fear, but betern finds everyone beneath him.

You can be assured that it WAS ghosted. Pailn could not have spared the time from her busy speaking schedule to have written it herself. She is in such demand from the minority and extremist wingnut factions of her woefully fragmented party that she could not possibly have had time to write the thing herself.

Thank you, Lord, that there is no Sarah Palin a heartbeat from the presidency!

The only "fear" around the person of Sarah Palin is the fear, by rational folks, that the wingnut faction in this nation could somehow grow large enough to install such an airhead in a national office! Never, let us pray, shall sun that morrow see!

As opposed to the left loons who elected someone based on charm, money, Chicago mob tactics and complete lack of any type of executive experience.

A bigger airhead than Palin.

Not bad for an 'airhead'. And, yes, she had help and did not hide the fact.

BEIJING, October 28 (Xinhuanet) -- Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential candidate, has scooped at least 1.25 million U.S. dollars in advance for her memoir Going Rogue. The book is to be published by HarperCollins next month and earlier reports suggest she may have received 7 million dollars.

The book, penned with conservative writer Lynn Vincent, is already a bestseller on reservation lists at the online retailer Amazon.com and other booksellers. The figure was revealed in a disclosure statement filed today in Alaska. It is likely to be only a portion of the entire advance since the statement does not include the period since she resigned from office and delivered the manuscript. HarperCollins plans an initial print run of 1.5 million copies.

Palin stepped down from the governor's office in July and is positioning herself as a conservative candidate for the 2012 presidential nomination. She has stayed out of the media spotlight in recent months while working on the book. However she has launched attacks against president Barack Obama and his policies from her Facebook page.

On the same day Palin's book goes on sale two other publications are set for release. Going Rouge, a parody colouring book for children, and a compilation book of essays critical of Palin hit the bookshelves on November 17.

Going Rouge is not only a play on words with regards Palin's book title but it may also refer to Obama's much maligned phrase during the 2008 Presidential Election campaign when he said, "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig" when talking about Republican policies. The McCain camp quickly took umbrage calling the remark sexist and a deliberate poke at Sarah Palin.

There's a facebook page entitled, "1,000,000 Strong Against Sarah Palin" with 119,000 members. I suppose only a conservative sees the humor in that.
