This is a low-budget film that has gotten tremendous buzz at the small festivals and venues where it has been shown. The lack of a big budget and flashy special effects has prevented Paramount from giving it a wide release.
I went to the site yesterday and over 100 people had already clicked to "demand" it come to Florence. I'd actually drive to Huntsville or Nashville to see it. Can't wait!

as of now it's not showing in Huntsville, but hopefully it will soon. i read that it only had a 11,000 dollar budget which is very low for what is considered low budget nowadays. i've been trying to locate horror films for years that are truly scary and it looks like this one is going to deliver.

there's an article on Wired.com about it and though they do compare it to the blair witch project, it is for format and idea only. they say the film is great, and if its anybody i trust as far as news goes its the guys at wired.

They hit the 1,000,000 mark. I love movies like this, I hope it comes to Middle TN.
“Faith does not feed on thin air but on facts. Its instinct is to root itself in truth, to earth itself in reality, and this distinguishes faith from fantasy, the object of faith from the figment of the imagination.”—Os Guinness
I'd definitely go to at least Huntsville to see this. Maybe we'll be lucky enough to get it in Florence. We deserve it after being stuck with Friday the 13th playing in three of the 12 screens when it came out. What a POS.
