I don't rent them very often but I used to rent them at Movie Gallery most of the time or Netflix until their price went up...I don't rent them enough to pay the price every month...I haven't tried Redbox -- how does that work?

...all movies with redbox are due by 9pm the following day.
As mentioned they are $1 per day charged to the card that you swipe when you rent it. However, if you leave the movie in your DVD player & forget about it then after 25 days you get to keep the movie and get a surprise on your checking account!

oh, I'm totally not blaming redbox ~ I'm very much aware that I should have not forgotten about it. Just an FYI that they stop charging you after 25 days & you keep the movie.

Ah didn't know you had it happen to you just thought you were saying, sorry about that hasta be crappy
i get my movies from movie gallery, but only because thats where my wife works. so they don't cost us anything, plus we get to see the new releases a week before they come out, pretty sweet deal. i also use netflix, mainly because i like to watch low budget horror and really old cult classics that you cant find anywhere else. and netflix did go up on their blu-ray fee, not sure about the monthly fee though.

Yea about 5 months ago they added a dollar feee overall for blu ray access but the reg has remained the same,I have a b ry player but rarely rent em because i like to copy my dvds
I totally do the Redbox thing. I think that Redbox is probably the smartest idea period. I mean honestly ask yourself...who watches the movie that you rent more than once anyway? Or who watches the movie again after the first night?

I love Redbox,it seems to do well a good bit of time I have to wait in line at Redbox with ppl in front and behind me and it will only increase with the Florence B Buster gone

I'm surprised McDonalds never picked them up in the area. They are at just about at every franchise where I live, and actually is where they originally started. McDonalds and Coinstar actually joint owned it until Coinstar acquired McD's half last year.
