I caught just a couple of minutes of a movie this morning that looks pretty good. It's called "The Kingdom" and it has Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, and Chris Cooper as the main characters. They are a team of government agents sent to investigate a bombing of an American facility in the mid East. The few minutes I saw had a scene with Tim McGraw in it. He plays a man whose wife was killed in the bombing and that one scene was excellent. The man can really act.... I saw him in Friday Night Lights and hated him, then in this you just want to cry with him. He is extremely underrated as an actor and could do sooo much if given the right part. Same with John Goodman......

Edward Norton is generally known for his reluctance to embrace his celebrity status. A performance as a magician who uses his powers to win the love of the woman he longs for in the romantic fantasy The Illusionist found Norton making a big impression on me. One of my favorite movies.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE that movie. Edward Norton is so sexy in that movie. Have you ever seen him in The Painted Veil? It is a good movie but I warn you, the ending is not happy. I think if I had known that I might not have watched it.

I have a long list of actors I love that not many people talk about (or have heard of), Lefty: Colin Firth, Ray Winstone, John Goodman <yeah, he's good>, the guy that played Dr Green on ER (can't remember his name right now for some reason), Sean Astin, Harry Connick Jr.

There is someone else that reminds me of him. In Robin Hood I think, he was.......dang, the sheriff, maybe. I need to google I guess. He was also the bad guy in Die Hard movies. What is his name? Another Underatted Actor.

Oh, yes. Alan Rickman. He now plays Severus Snape in the Harry Potter films. He really was a sexy bad guy in the first Die Hard movie. He also played an eccentric artist in a movie with Kevin Kline called The January Man. Check it out, it was a really good film.

on the topic of norton, you guys definitely need to check out Primal Fear, very good film, and American History X, which doesn't have a very happy ending either, but a very good story.

I think I've seen portions of Primal Fear and my son was watching American History X one day and I simply couldn't stay in the room. Not because of Norton's acting but I found the whole movie nauseating. I prefer to see him in movies like Keeping the Faith and The Illusionist. The big plus for me in The Painted Veil was getting to see him sans apparel in one scene...well not full frontal but he has a real nice butt. He was really good in The Hulk as well.

I'm not sure how you feel about historical romance films but Alan Rickman does a fantastic job as Col. Brandon in the movie Sense and Sensibility with fellow Brits Emma Thompson, Hugh Grant and Kate Winslet.

Dead Again, no but going to look for it. Underrated is what we all mean. They can be any kind of person. Funny, Romantic, mean or even crazy. Lots of time as in Norten's case, he avoids fame. He is still great. Alan Rickman, in Robin Hood was a hoot. I also recall him, I think in a Richard Gere movie, as a king possibly. Need to run over to Google again, I guess.

Greg Wise is the actor who played John Willoughby and no, I had no idea they married but according to IMDB they have a daughter together. And yes, I did see Dead Again, and I remember it having a very interesting premise - reincarnation I think.
