I'll be there! I haven't decided if I going to see them in Nashville or Atlanta yet. My boyfriend is working in Atlanta for the next few months and I have turned him into a big DBT fan.

Would love to see them. They really are awesome!

If you beg and beg and beg and get everyone else begging, they might, just might bust out with "Panties in Your Purse."

Marian!

Go to both!

We might be able to get in with our friend, so we could sell you our Nashville tickets if we end up not needing them.

I cannot WAIT to hear the pedal guitar in the Ryman!!!!

Isobel,

If cameras are permitted (or can be sneaked in easily Wink ), I will try to take pictures and video a few songs and then post them on YouTube, so that you (and the rest of you) can view/watch them because I am sweet like that...

Especially to a fellow DBT fan Smiler

If I can't sneak a camera in, I will write a very descriptive story about the show!

GIIMI, I thought about going to both! I will talk to the man tonight and see what he wants to do.

I've only been to one show at the Ryman, but they didn't check for cameras or anything.

Inbox, didn't you have a Dexateens quote as a signature not too long ago?

olwiggum,

You are correct! Smiler

The Dexateens played with Sons of Roswell at The Basement here in Nashville 2 weeks ago.

They are one of my new favorite bands and they sounded great live!

I try to listen to other bands besides the DBT. My Ipod has everything from old soul, to punk, to funk, to rap, to grunge, to psychedlic 70s, and even techo/electronica! But it's pointless, I just can't seem to quit the DBT....

I'm so happy that they talk about the dirt underneath. Glad that someone does!

I still haven't seen the Dexateens, but I would love catch one of their shows soon. I've met a couple of those guys and they're super-cool.

Not sure if you have myspace, but they keep an updated list of shows on their site.

The Sons of Roswell were great too! Very psychedlic rock. They are from Muscle Shoals!

They are going to be at the Bama Theater in Tuscaloosa at 9 pm on Monday, September 15! I think I need to go down there and order some transcripts in person . . . and stay for a week or so with my friends as school will be in already, so it will be a lot safer on the streets as the freshmen will have discovered not to drive from class to class and circle neighborhoods like vultures when they can go a side street over and park with no trouble in a church lot!
