Am I the only one who noticed a connection between the group of posters that were banned/suspended WHATEVER this afternoon?? Anyone who has been reading the now missing Sweetwater threads would realize that practically every poster that was banned this afternoon were friends. How did that happen? There were at least 3, maybe 4 or 5 even, others that were instigating and apparently they didn't even get a hand slap for their part in the drama. I've read here before where one group thought that the other group had an "in" at the Times Daily. I'm starting to realize exactly which group that is!! If you're going to moderate than try to at least appear to be fair.

It seems that at long last they have finally figured out who the troublemakers were.

Who is banned/suspended?

If you really want the true story. The fact is that TDF doesn't know who the troublemakers are so they ban the posters who are reported most often. They don't have time to read all the crap.
We all know there is power in numbers and the black sheep group has more people posting here. Do you ever notice that where there is one of them there are several? It doesn't matter what a poster says if one of them doesn't like it they all gang up and harrass them.

They have gone as far as to register under a name for the sole purpose of posting poster's real names. There was a filthy one yesterday morning by one of their one shot wonders using a poster's real name.
For your own safety and well being DO NOT give these people your real name or personal info. It is a shame because there are some in the group who I feel are genuinely nice people. Only a small handful of the group do the most hateful things but they will all report you if they are asked to.
A poster named Larry Tate has posted vile lies and made disgusting insinuations but he/she remains. Tizzy is also another troublemaker. They both know things only a banned poster would know.
If you are solicited via pm to join a certain group do it if you want to. Do it anonymously using an untraceable email without any hint as to your real identity in it. It will be shared with other members. For instance do not use real names in your email addy.
Do not meet these people. Do not give them myspace or facebook links. Do not give them your cell phone number you will recieve ugly text messages if they turn on you. For crying out loud don't tell where you work or where you live. Don't give info about your kids such as schools, grades,etc.
If you are already a member and haven't disclosed your identity think long and hard before you do. It is not worth dealing with the bad ones to meet the good ones. That is a shame but it is the truth. You know the saying one bad apple spoils the whole bunch. It applies here. Of course there are more than one bad apple.
I made a statement in a post last night . I said treat everyone like it is their last day to live. I intend to do just that.

You joined the forums YESTERDAY and yet you know that everyone that was banned were "friends"...yea, I'm not going there...I just wish the drama would stop. It was old 6 months ago and is still old today. We should all be able to talk without everything becoming a 3rd grade playground fight...

Sweetreat, I appreciate your response and advice. I’ve been reading the forums long enough to have picked up on the fact that there is a group calling themselves black sheep as well as another group that don’t seem to like the so called black sheep. I don’t have any idea what that group calls itself, I’ve only seen some derogatory names given to them. Troll (yes, I know what a forum troll is, its been defined on here more than once) and henchbroad (that one I don’t get, I just remember seeing it used a few times) are the two that stick out in my mind.

I can’t even begin to imagine why anyone would EVER give out their personal information to people they only talk to online. That’s just nuts. Have you people never watched To Catch A Predator? There are some crazy individuals out there even in our little corner of Alabama.

Sweetreat, you named a couple of posters that I was surprised to see still hanging around. I don’t know what issues Larry Tate has with either southernsally or johnreb but he was down right confrontational yesterday. All I saw them do was defend themselves, for the most part.

I’m not looking for a group to join. I would certainly never make the mistake of announcing that I was going to be meeting someone or even a group (any group) from here. I’m not that desperate to make new friends. I just couldn’t set back and say nothing about what happened yesterday. It wouldn’t take a brain surgeon to see that the discipline wasn’t dealt out fairly.

Yes, DixieChik, I just created an account yesterday. That doesn’t mean I don’t read the forums. I would bet that there are hundreds of people who just read and never post their opinion. You never know, someone might jump their case if they are posting for the first time and have the audacity to give an unpopular opinion or heaven forbid act like they pay attention.

So you're trying to convince everyone that you're just a silent observer and not on anyone's "side", right? Then you either have seriously deficient reading and comprehension skills, or you're a troll. Southernsally and john reb did plenty of instigating to get themselves (properly) banned. Larry Tate was defending himself; that's something the sheep have had to do a lot of lately, too, on this forum because of psycho, obsessed posters that start drama constantly.

And sweetreat is another poster that you should be surprised is still hanging around. She deleted her negative posts last night before trying to come back as Ms. Positive and Nice 2009. She can sell that somewhere else; no one here is buying it!
