Last night I was searching the internet for a very specific item and I ended up at a specialized website for that item. I printed some of the pages at that site for an elderly relative who has no computer but wants to order this item.

This morning I go to TD.com, and the first ad I see is for this exact website and this exact item.

Is this a coincidence or is my computer telling td.com where I've been surfing?

to be honest. yes, your computer is telling but it's not times daily. it is a "bot". it's supposed to help provide links to sites relevant to you. it's somewhat specific to each person. nothing to really worry about. Cool

Of course not but that's not going to stop them. Many sites do the same thing. Just dump your cookies and run your anti adware programs and you should be fine.

Bots are CREEPY!

And now they've stolen a lovely word (cookies) and made it creepy too.

I still love cookies, though.
