Please, Timesdaily people, help me be able to use my original account. I got tired of having it tell me my password was wrong (when i knew it wasn't) so I made this new ID in order to be able to post.
I have done the 'change password' thing and it still won't let me log in.
They changed my password and the only way to correct it was to asked for the password and when the Daily sent it to me it was a new password not my old one. So it was the Daily who change everyone's passwords.
I couldn't get on with my old password, either. I clicked on the link to have my password emailed to me, and mine was a different one also.

The bad thing is the TD admin came and shut down Deeps thread after you had posted yours. Meaning your thread was posted first. Apparently they didnt either read yours or didnt care enough to respond.

I got a nice prompt e mail from someone at TD, but because I hadn't made myself clear, she helped me change the password on this account rather than on my original one.
I made Homesick Girl in 2006 and would like to be able to use it because I don't like being 'new'.
The duplicate thread thing is a problem. Sometimes it can't be helped. I wish there was a way to roll them into one topic rather than closing one of the topics.
Hhomesick, that happened to at least three others on here. If the email address registered for homesick girl is correct, you should have no problems.
I know one had used a bogus addy when he came back after being banned and had to go with a third new name. So, everyone make sure the TD has your correct email addy in case something like that happens again.

Dill, they don't keep records of passwords. They have the ability to reset the word with a new password which they send to you. Then you can get into your account and change the password to whatever you want it to be.
