Hello Ladies! I have just found the most awesome clothing line. It is "Bitten" by Sarah Jessica Parker (yes, the Sex in the City chick). They only sell it at Steve & Barry's - but there is a S&B's at Madison Square Mall. It is so cute and CHEAP! Nothing (nope, nothing) over $20. The store also has other brands (including Dear, by Amanda Bynes - ask your tween age girls if you don't know who she is) and everything is so inexpensive! I got 2 cashmere blend cable knit sweaters - one V and one crew neck; one 100% cotton heavy cable sweater; and 3 button down oxfords for less than $80. The pieces all seem to be put together pretty well, too. Seams are clean and finished, patterns match, etc.

There are a lot of "trendy" clothes (like the Kimono Sleeve Sweaters), but at less than $20 a pop - it's a good deal.

So. That is my Public Service Announcement for today! If you come out this way, let me know and we can grab a coffee at Starbucks and a bun at Cinnabon!

It's the end of the world as we know it.

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Hey JM,
Currently S&B does not allow online shopping. How jacked is that?! You can find the Bitten line on eBay but some of the people are getting a bit carried away. I found the exact same sweater that I bought for less than $20 in the store for sale on eBay for $29.99 + shipping & handling! Crazy fools!

My daughter loves the Dear by Amanda Bynes clothes. They are "trendy" without being "trashy". You should make the trip to Madison - and while you are here, go by Bridge Street!

I like the idea behind Steve and Barry's, but I've never found clothes that are very well made there. They're great for kids and t-shirts, but everything I tried on for myself was very thin and looked like the thread was coming undone. My guy, however, loves their cheap button-ups and they seem to be holding up well over time. Another thing I wasn't crazy about was the color selection. Everything is khaki, pink, white or black.

On the up-side, you can get a whole wardrobe for very very cheap and they have some really cute t-shirts. Oh, and their jacket selection is pretty good, too.

Save the drama for your llama!

Sounds kind of like Rue 21. My daughter and I both love to shop there. I will check it out when I am that way.

She doesnt know about Amandas line of clothing, but when I tell her, she'll want to see it. She is 10 going on 20...LOL. She like the Hannah Montana clothes at Dillards.

These clothes are AWESOME! I wouldn't buy anything else in S&B's but the Bitten line is fantastic! The t-shirts are cute and you don't have a lot of $$ invested. I personally love the jeans--I stocked up last weekend during the $8.98 or less sale and got 3 pairs for $27 so that was great. I've also got a fantastic pea coat that I wear constantly. The only downside is the sales that say $8.98 or less is not true--everything is really just $8.98 even the jewelry and accessories that are normally $4.98 or less. That's a rip off but the jeans and clothes that are cheaper during the sale are a true bargain. I'm glad that SJP came out with a fashionable and affordable line that real people can afford and still pay bills!

I have yet to make it back to Madison to check out the spring/summer line of Bitten. I fawn over it on line all the time - it's just a hike for me to make it up to Madison - I need money for gas and money for browsing!

However when I was there I was so pleased with SJP's collection and Miss Amanda Bynes (she's SO cute)... I agree both lines are affordable, tasteful and trendy with out being trashy! FINALLY!

Now I'm all excited.. I think next weekend might be Madison weekend - I want to check out Bridge Street as well!
