Can anyone recommend a stylist in the Florence area that will help me decide what to do with my hair instead or relying on asking what I want? I need someone who understands face shape, hair texture, hair care, and is up-to-date with current styles and cuts...I seem to end up with the same 'ole look and it's gettin' old! p.s...under $100 for cut and color is a must also...if that's possible...thanks!
Hey! My guys are wonderful. I use Bella Capelli which means beautiful hair. The guys over there are wonderful, either Dwight Cox or John Walls 256-765-9911. I just go in, sit down and they take all of the worry away.
Hey, I HIGHLY recommend Cindy Morris at Renaissance Salon. She is AWESOME and can usually work you in within a couple of days. The salon is on Florence Blvd...in the same place as WOOD FLOORING.... before Dandy's package store and Indian Springs Subdivision leaving from the Florence area headed East. If you are in the Killen area (by your name) it is pretty close.
Thanks guys, for all your input. I went to the owner at Renaissance once but when I left, it was $165 for shampoo, cut, and partial foil! yikes...nice treat and I like him (one of the owners) but I can't do that every time. I always feel weird about changing stylists within a salon...I thought Cindy was cool though...she was very friendly. I'll be following up on these suggestions...thx again.
I love Andral Brown at Epicurean Day Spa. She's been cutting my hair for over 12 years now (hmmm...either me or her is getting old!!!) and she has never given me a bad cut or color. She has however refused to give me a bad cut and color before! She will honestly say to you "that will not look good". She is one of the only stylists I have gone to do that will do that.
Also - Heather at the Body Shop in Killen does good hair. If she isn't booked plum solid, then consider it a gift and take the appointment! She is also a very creative and a very talented colorist. She is brutally honest, too.
I trust both of those ladies and highly recommend them.
It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Hope you call her!
I ditto Public Thinker! Julie is also very good, if Cindy can not get you in.
