I started a new job last fall at a dot-com company. We never see our customers so I stopped worrying with wearing make up to work.

Eventually I stopped wearing make up all together.

This has been so liberating! My skin feels FANTASTIC!

I have red, ruddy cheeks and freckles...so it's not like I have a peaches and cream complexion and have decided to go natural.

I've just decided to go natural. Try it for a week, ladies. We are lovely just as we are.

Too, it only takes about 15 minutes to go from the shower to the front door now, too.

You have way more guts than I do!

I used to be a Pan Stick addict. I am now recovering. I hate my complexion so much!!! I used to put concealer on under my eyes, around my nose and around my mouth. Then I would use Max Factor Pan Stick foundation over my entire face. After it set I would put on Clinique Superpowder Double Face Powder on top of that. Then I'd do the whole blush, eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara, lipliner, and lipstick.

With the help of a few good friends, I have finally been weaned off of the heavy make-up and now "just" use mineral foundation, bronzer / blusher, and lipgloss (sometimes lipstick). My face feels... like a face. Not like a mask! I don't think I'll ever be brave enough to go bare!

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

I'm 53 and I wear Clinique Almost Makeup. That heavy stuff just sinks into lines. I'm around nurses all the time and you seldom see them wearing lots of makeup. Maybe because we'd just sweat it off.

I'm shedding stuff as I get older. Used to wear all the make up, suck 'em up pantyhose, heels, whole thing. Now I wear the light makeup, a little mascara and scrubs and let my hair dry curly. One day I'll just go to work with my hair wet, no underwear and in my socks and bathrobe. How cute do you have to be to hand out pills?

I think i've tried every foundation made.
I have oily skin, although it isn't as bad as it used to be, and large pores, especially on my nose. After trying everything and spending beaucoups de bucks what works best for me is CoverGirl Oil Control for less than $5 a bottle.
Years ago i LOVED Max Factor Active Protection, but they quit making it, of course.
And, like Vick, i'm shedding stuff as i get older. I don't fool with mascara or powder and i hate lipstick...i stick with a light pink balm.

You suck it up from one place and it always pops out somewhere else where you don't want it.
And it's false advertising....lol

I've used it all too. I have oily skin and was blessed with adult acne (Thank God for Proactiv). I use Avon's Perfect Wear foundation. I always catch it on sale for $7.99. It works great. It fills in everything that needs filling, covers what needs covering, but doesn't look like Pan-Stick (yeah, me too Smiler). I also don't have to wear powder. Once it's on, it ain't going nowhere without cleanser and warm water.

even if you are not using makeup be sure to use a good cleanser. BeautiControl has MRP which stands for Maintain, Repair, and Prevent. I do in home demonstrations for free if you would like to talk to me more about some products. We don't go by the age of yourself, we go by the age of your skin and what your skin is trying to tell you.
